Printing photos is the best way to enjoy them, but where you print matters! Here's my thoughts on why you should invest a little more and what consumer labs I recommend.
Sneak Peek: Josh & Holly
Here's a sneak peek of the awesome mountain wedding I got to shoot yesterday! Josh and Holly are so great together which really made it fun to work with them. What was possibly even more fun was cruising around in my very own golf cart! It may have disappeared for a half hour or so with a bunch of my gear in it, but it came back safe and sound :)
Congrats Josh and Holly! You guys are awesome!
Sneak Peek: Kelsey & Bryce
Sneak peek of Kelsey & Bryce Evans! I was finally able to break away from the computer this morning around 3:00 to get a few hours of sleep :) This wedding was so much fun. Truly amazing people. Congrats you guys!
Gear Check For Tomorrow's Wedding!
What you see and what you don't most likely don't see when I photograph weddings.

Every Time I Find an Old Barn/Rustic Place...
Ok, something is up... Every time I find a cool barn or rustic place to shoot at it ends up destroyed!
The first time it happened after doing a quick practice session with my sister getting ready for other shoots I had coming up. I had driven past this barn several times and each time thought, "That looks like it could be a cool rustic spot for photos!" I finally get a chance to do some there and I like what I saw, then BAM! Not two weeks later it was demolished and now is just farmland.
Next is Idaho City. Idaho City is an iconic town in Idaho that had this famous boardwalk with an old style ice cream shoppe, an old time photo place, and other neat little stores. I only got to do a couple of shoots there before the whole thing burns to the ground one night. Dangit!
The most recent location this happened with is a super cool barn that was so close to my home! It was actually one of the first things I photographed with my new DSLR when I first got one. Since then I had always wanted to do a shoot there but it was fenced off and the weeds all around it were tall and nasty. One day this spring I was driving by it and noticed that not only was a gate leading to it wide open, but the weeds had been mowed! SCORE!!!! So on the weekend of our anniversary my wife and I cruised down there to take our own anniversary photos and to test out the location for future shoots. The shoot went as well as it could have and I loved the look of the barn. I was excited to do another session there but not even a week later I'm driving by and I see tractors loading up what once was the awesome red barn. DAHHHHHH!!! So frustrating. One of these days I'm going to find the perfect barn or rustic looking place and it's actually going to stay put! If you know of one let me know. I'm getting a little desperate here!
Anyway, that's the story. Crazy right?!
New Proposal Video!
It was such an honor to document this proposal! My wife's best friend is now officially getting married to her sweetheart and this is how their engagement began...
From 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM I traveled, shot, and edited to get this bad boy done. It was a whirlwind but so awesome to be able to do. I'm so happy for these two! I'm excited that this video will always be something that these two can watch and remember how magical this night was.

New Packaging & USB Drives!
Hey everyone!
As I've been shifting from a print based studio to offering digital negatives I found myself needing a more exciting way to present my clients with their product. In the past I have used Dropbox or other online sources, but those proved to be cumbersome for some and there's a maximum download size of 1 GB! I also like having something exciting to deliver in person.
I tried customized Data DVDs but some PCs wouldn't read them! Not cool for how much they cost...
So that led me to custom USB drives. This is what my new packaging looks like for all premium clients! I'm pretty excited about it. I also have some new print release cards that will replace the PDF file I have been providing.
